Our Center
Birth Roots Women's Health and Maternity Center is located in a charming craftsman home in historic downtown Chula Vista, minutes from the 805 and 5 freeways, close to the trolley and bus stops, and within minutes of two nearby hospitals.
Living Room / Fireplace
The Entry/Family Room is a comfortable place for families to relax and play during labor, during or while waiting for appointments, or just to drop by and say hi! We also hold childbirth preparation and other classes here.
Reception / Library
In the Reception/Library, you'll check in for appointments and browse through our collection of pregnancy, birth, parenting and holistic health books and videos. This is also a great place for family to make themselves comfortable during the birth.
Front Birth Room
The cozy, quaint Front Birth Room offers a private bathroom with shower, wood floors and comfortable seating. This room is also used for prenatal, postpartum, well baby/well mama and lactation visits.
Back Bathroom
The Back Bathroom is spacious and ADA compliant.
Exam Room
This bright, cheery Exam Room is used for well woman/gynecology visits, preconception and nutritional consultations, and some prenatal exams.
Back Birth Room
The Back Birth Room is a roomy, comfortable space to have a baby, with a deep tub for pain relief and relaxation during labor, a birth sling for support in upright positions, and plenty of room for family and support people.
Easy Parking
We have a private parking lot in back for your convenience, with plenty of spots including wheelchair accessible parking.
